Martial Movement is a martial arts group that trains the Korean martial arts of Taekwondo and Haedong Kumdo (swordsmanship). Aspects of other martial arts are also introduced. In this way students are not limited to a certain style and are more free to express themselves as the situation demands.

Training is non-competitive, non-confronting, and family friendly. Whilst following a Taekwondo and Kumdo colour belt and black belt curriculum, students are encouraged to try their best, without needing to be the best.

The philosophy of the school is "sang ji shim", or "way of the heart and mind". It is the belief of the teachers that martial arts serve as more than merely a conduit for learning self defence, but in the modern day also act to strengthen the body, provide suppleness and agility for day-to-day living, and serve as a way to relieve stress whilst developing focus.
